A leader in innovation.
"We are very proud that Simpson is a locally owned, not-for-profit organization serving the state of Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas. As a not-for-profit senior living organization, we reinvest money back in our communities to benefit the people who live there. This means more amenities, better services, improved care, and a higher quality of life. Our residents have a stake in our success and their views, wants and needs are reflected in the work we do.
Compared to many for-profit communities whose focus also must benefit their owners, investors or shareholders, we are committed to the wellbeing of our residents, our team members and the local community.

Simpson includes retirement communities in and around Philadelphia that offer senior independent living apartments and cottages, personal care and assisted living, memory support, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, therapy, respite care and home care."

Simpson has been providing services to aging adults in the greater Philadelphia region for more than 160 years. A not-for-profit family of services, Simpson is related historically and by a mission to the United Methodist Church. We are inclusive, diverse, and open to the LGBTQ community and people of all faiths.
“I’m passionate. And I desire that care is good—that residents feel strong about the life they have in our communities, and that the staff have the tools they need to provide that life...That the care of the communities is strong. So that they feel that they love living with us and will continue to love living with us for the rest of their lives.”
